CAF CC prelims: We will give it all in the return leg – Nsoatreman FC coach after defeat to CS Constantine

-

Nsoatreman FC coach, Yaw Preko has vowed that his team will approach their second-leg match against CS Constantine with a determined mindset.

The Ghana FA Cup champions were defeated 2-0 by the Algerian side in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup’s second-round preliminary games, which took place on Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Zakaria Benchaa scored both goals for CS Constantine, finding the net in the 11th and 27th minutes.

In his post-match comments, Preko emphasized that his team would not simply play for a draw in the return leg.

“We are 2-0 down, so we are not going there to defend, we are going to play them, we are going to give it a go,” he said.

“Especially in the second half what I saw from my boys if we play the way we played in the second half…all we need to do is if by chance we get chances, we have to do what; bury them,” he added.

The second leg will take place at Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui on Saturday, September 21, with kickoff set for 17:00 GMT.
