Nosatreman FC has been beaten at home by Algerian side, CS Constantine in the first leg of the second round of the preliminary round of games.
The first leg was hosted at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday afternoon.
A brace from Constantine’s Algerian forward Zakaria Benchaa in the 11th minute and 27th minute ensured the North African side grabbed the important win.
Nsoatreman FC will travel for the second leg on Saturday, September 21 with kick-off scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
Yaw Preko and his side are aiming to make history by playing in the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the 2023/24 Ghana FA Cup.
Meanwhile, FC Samartex will take on Morocco’s Raja Casablanca on Sunday, September 15 at the Accra Stadium at 17:00 GMT in the first leg of the second round of the CAF Champions League.
