A Burkinabe importer doing business in Ghana has been shot at Tema community 4.
It is unclear the motive for the attack, which was carried out by some suspected criminals on a motorbike Saturday evening.
According to reports “the motorbike and its occupants had been waiting in front of the victim’s office for several hours apparently waiting for him to step out of the office”.
Although the victim was badly injured as a result of the gunshot wounds, sources say he is responding to treatment at a health facility in Tema.
No arrest has yet been made, police sources say.
This is the second time in a fortnight an attack of such fashion is happening in Tema after unknown gunmen on a motorbike shot and killed a worker who had been sent to deposit cash at the bank around the GTP roundabout last week.
