‘Buffon’ – Vanderpuye slams Koku Anyidoho over Atta Mills’ memorial day chaos

-

The Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has launched a vitriolic attack on former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho.

According to him, his conduct at the memorial service for late former President John Evans Atta Mills at Asomdwee Park on Wednesday, July 24 was uncalled-for.

“What happened was uncalled-for, unwarranted and unexpected, but I will put it all at the doorstep of the government which is allowing this ‘buffoon’ of a guy called Anyidoho…the way he’s behaving, he’s playing a ‘buffoonery’” he fumed.

Mr. Vanderpuye however blamed government for allowing Mr. Anyidoho to use such an important platform to vent his anger on NDC flagbearer,

“Anyidoho’s arrogance and lack of humility are unbecoming of someone who worked under President Mills. His actions were purely motivated by his hatred for President Mahama, and he aimed to disrupt the program knowing that President Mahama and the NDC executives would be present” he added in an interview on Citi FM.
