Ghanaian actor, comedian and broadcaster, Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari popularly known as Koo Fori has joined the list of industry players who sent out heart-warming messages to the family of Asempa FM’s Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong (KABA) who passed away last Saturday.
At the forecourt of the Radio Building, which houses Joy FM, Adom FM, Asempa FM and Hitz FM, Koo Fori described Kaba as a young, energetic, and knowledgeable man who was passion driven in the journalistic world.
He cited instances where he helped him to plan his wedding and other moments that he dearly cherished at heart.
Koo Fori who lost his wife in a similar manner when his daughter was only two weeks old prayed for the almighty God extend His grace to the wife and family members in such cold times.
The Ghanaian actor insisted the death of his beloved ‘brother’ shall not be taken lightly since he believes KABA has left a big vacuum in the hearts of all those who loved him.
“When I heard of his death, it was God who held my heart. I was on a high speed. It is just unfortunate a young, energetic and knowledgeable person will leave like that. We accept in good fate even though it has created a big vacuum…,” he said.
He continued that, “It’s unfortunate but we will hold ourselves together. I take him as my brother. During his wedding I was part of the organizers. It tells you how close we are. I am not taking this lightly. I know how it feels because it has happened to me before. My daughter was just two weeks when mine happened to me. I know the God who supported me will do the same for his wife and child. God knows best…,” Koo Fori maintained.
