A seven-year-old boy, who went missing at Adiembra, a suburb of Sekondi
in the Western region, has been found dead in a bush in the area.
The boy was reported missing Saturday evening by his parents
but could not be found until after 24 hours when his lifeless body was found in
a bush.
An anonymous man who claimed to have gone to the bush to find
weeds to feed his rabbits bumped into the body.
He immediately called the host of Connect FM’s Omanbapa,
Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson, on phone to inform him of the discovery of a dead
body of a young boy in the bush.
According to Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi, he advised the man to
immediately inform the Adiembra Police which he agreed after initial reluctance.
The popular radio show host told 3news.com Monday that few
hours later, he got another call from a lady who pleaded with him to use his
radio show to help find a neighbour’s son from Adiembra who had gone missing.
Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi then informed the lady of the discovery of
a dead body in a bush at Adiembra, as reported by the anonymous caller.
“The lady quickly organised a search team which went to the
said location and behold it was the missing boy,” he said.
With the assistance of Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi, the Police went to
the scene to convey the body to the morgue while investigation has begun.
