AFC Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has expressed satisfaction with his impressive first half of the season, having scored five goals and provided two assists so far.

In an interview, the Ghana international shared that he’s in the best physical and mental shape he’s experienced since joining the Premier League club.

“I feel like feeling 100% is one of the things I’ve been hoping for for the past couple of years,” he told Stadium Astro.

“There haven’t been any major problems so that’s a good thing.”

Semenyo also credited Bournemouth’s coaching staff for his development.

“I feel like I’m developing my game a lot more and that comes down to the manager. “He seems to be able to maximize my abilities and attributes and it’s really nice to have the manager, his assistants and my teammates pushing me to be the best that I can be.

The 23-year-old has made 19 appearances for Bournemouth this season, contributing directly to seven goals with his five strikes and two assists.

Semenyo will hope to continue his fine form when Bournemouth travel to play Chelsea on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
