Borussia Dortmund has sent well wishes to Otto Addo, the Ghana national team coach, after he was involved in a car accident on Sunday.
Addo, along with his assistant coaches, John Paintsil and goalkeeper trainer Fatau Dauda, were returning to Accra after attending the Super Cup match between Samartex FC and Nsoatreman FC at T&A Park in Tarkwa when the incident occurred.

Upon learning of the accident, Dortmund expressed their concern and wished their former coach and his colleagues a quick recovery.
The Bundesliga club posted on social media platform X, saying, “Otto Addo and two assistant coaches of the Ghanaian national team were injured in a car accident this morning. We wish everyone a good and speedy recovery!”

Addo previously worked as an assistant coach and scout at Borussia Dortmund before taking on the role of head coach for the Black Stars earlier this year.
As Ghana prepares for their upcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers, Addo will be focused on leading his team to victory.
Ghana is set to face Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium before travelling to Berkane to play Niger on September 9 in their Group F matches.
The Black Stars will officially open camp today Monday September 2 in Accra before jetting off to Kumasi on Tuesday.
