A man believed to be in his 20s has been found dead in a rubbish container at St. Kizito’s B JHS in the Mempeasem Electoral Area, a suburb of Bole in the Savannah Region.
The Assemblyman of the area, Hassan Peace Brother, told the media that around 5 a.m. on Saturday, a cleaner at the dumping site reported seeing what appeared to be a human leg in the container.
“I quickly rushed there and saw that a young man was lying inside the container,” he said.
He immediately called the Bole District and Divisional Commands, who arrived at the scene and removed the body for identification.
The body has since been deposited at the Sawla District Hospital mortuary.
