Board and management of National Ambulance Service tour Eastern region

As part of NAS effort to strengthen its operations nationwide, the Board Chairman, Nana Wiafe Ababio and the CEO, Professor Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah has embarked on a monitoring to the various ambulance stations in the Eastern region.

The team which comprises the Board and management first visited the Omanhene of Juabeng traditional area in Koforidua.

Interacting with the EMTS, the Board Chairman of the service, Nana Wiafe Ababio on behalf of the Govering Board extended their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff, who work tirelessly, often under challenging conditions to provide life-saving services.

He commended that, the Regional Administrator and his team in the area for their exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication that have been an instrumental in the growth of the service in the area.

The CEO for the service, Prof. Ahmed Nuhu Zakariah, encouraged the personnel not to give up, though the terrain might not be conducive and or deprived their efforts are highly recognised and appreciated.

NAS which was established in 2004, without any direction has now risen to an appreciable institution the service has risen to a position of excellence in Emergency Health care delivery in the country.
