The blogger who was arrested on the report of Kumawood actor, Lil Win says she was made to sleep overnight at one of the cells in Tesano Police Station after her “fake” news report.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM Wednesday, the blogger who goes by the name Candy said she was arrested at Peace FM during a rendezvous with one of their staff.
When she was queried by Andy Dosty about whether she knew her fake report was unethical, Candy answered in the affirmative but registered her displeasure at Lil Win for letting her sleep in the cell on the night of her arrest.

“I didn’t see the accident but I did overhear Lil Win talking to the receptionist about it and also claiming that people actually do that to extort money from him. I know what I did wasn’t right. I was not manhandled; not in anyway. I stayed at Despites’ ultra-modern police station overnight and was released in the morning to report every day until Friday,” she said.
Candy has, however, refused to allow her lawyer to wade into the matter.
According to her, she is opting for an out-of-court settlement since she might end up behind bars should the matter escalate.

“I have a lawyer but because of one or two situations, I don’t wanna go to court. I just wanna let things go,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Prince Tsegah, one of the panellists on the Daybreak Hitz show said the whole issue of an arrest may be a publicity stunt to aimed at promoting Candy’s website since she seems elated about the issue, a suspicion Candy has denied.
