Black Stars: Otto Addo visits Leicester City duo Fatawu Issahaku and Jordan Ayew

-

Black Stars coach, Otto Addo paid a visit to Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and his fully recovered teammate Jordan Ayew.

Fatawu Issahaku, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation, has been sidelined for the rest of the season due to a serious knee injury.

The 24-year-old sustained the injury during Ghana’s Matchday Five clash against Angola in Luanda as part of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Unfortunately, this injury also rules him out of Ghana’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar scheduled for March next year.

On a brighter note, Jordan Ayew has made a full recovery and rejoined Leicester City after overcoming an injury he picked up during Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Angola on November 16, 2024.

Coach Addo’s visit highlights his dedication to both the well-being and progress of national team players, whether they are actively competing or on the road to recovery.
