Patrick Osei Agyemang, host of Fire for Fire on Adom TV, has criticized the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for its decision to reappoint Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars.
His comments come in the wake of the Black Stars’ poor start to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
Ghana lost 1-0 to Angola and followed that with a 1-1 draw against Niger in their second Group F match.
Reacting to the team’s performance, Osei Agyemang, also known as Countryman Songo, questioned the GFA’s decision to bring back Addo, calling it a significant mistake.
Otto Addo was reappointed on a 34-month contract, with an option for a further 24 months.
Ghana currently sits third in the group with just one point, and they are set to face Kwesi Appiah’s Sudan in a doubleheader in October.
