-

The Black Satellites of Ghana will resume camping in Accra on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, as they intensify preparations for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The team returns to training after a one-week break, following their participation in a three-nation tournament in Rabat, Morocco.

Head coach Desmond Ofei will lead the squad through intensive sessions in Accra, including a series of friendly matches, as they refine their strategies ahead of the continental showdown in Egypt. The 2025 U-20 AFCON is scheduled to run from April 26 to May 18.

Ghana has been drawn into Group A, where they will face Côte d’Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and a representative from the Central African Football Federations Union (UNIFFAC).

The Black Satellites are aiming to secure their fifth U-20 AFCON title, having previously claimed the crown in 1993, 1999, 2009, and 2021.

The team also boasts a historic FIFA U-20 World Cup win, achieved in Egypt back in 2009.
