Black Queens enplane to Ivory Coast for Maiden WAFU B Women’s tournament

The senior female national team, Black Queens, have left for Ivory Coast to play in the maiden WAFU Zone B Women’s Nations Cup which starts on Wednesday.
Acting Head Coach, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, took the team to the French speaking country with 18 players and 6 technical team members.
Ghana will face host, Ivory Coast, in the opening match at the Houphouet Boigny Stadium.
The tournament will be played between 14 and 24 February with the other stadia to be used being the Robert Champroux Stadium and the Parc des Sports.
Ghana is in group A with Ivory Coast, Niger and Burkina Faso while group B is made up of Nigeria, Senegal, Togo and Benin.
