Founder and leader of Pottersville Church International, Ambassador Bishop Sam Owusu, has made a bold prophecy, claiming that Johnson Asiedu Nketia, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is spiritually destined to become Ghana’s president in the future.
In a Facebook video that has gone viral, the renowned preacher stated that God had shown him the numerous battles Asiedu Nketia had fought for the NDC, which, according to him, makes him the next presidential candidate spiritually.
“The sitting president should be careful and not live the life the other people lived. He should never forget those who stood for him, including leaders.
“When you look at the current government right now and look into the spiritual account, there is one who made Mahama become a flagbearer. It is one man who made sure power would be given to him. He decided to make him lead, and that is the Chairman of their party,” he stated.
Bishop Owusu further revealed that he had already foreseen this in a prophecy he made months ago.
“In November or October, I prophesied. I saw that when Mahama leaves, I saw in the realms that he will be the next flagbearer of their party. I saw the mantle with him. If John Dramani Mahama understands gratitude, honour, and loyalty, he must make sure the chairman, who has used all his life to sacrifice for the party, is given the mantle decided in heaven,” he stated.
He continued, “I prophesied. Last year, I saw that Asiedu Nketia will one day become president. The Lord told me to look at his hands and the battles he has fought. I said, wow! The video is there. If we are not careful, they will sabotage and forget him, and it might affect the party. The NDC party will start breaking just like the NPP.”
Nonetheless, Bishop Owusu’s prophecy has since generated widespread debate and Asiedu Nketia, a veteran politician and former General Secretary of the NDC, is yet to respond to the prophecy.
