Multiple award winning Ghanaian artiste, Bisa Kdei known in real life as Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah has been billed for this year’s Festival Des Musiques Urbaine d’Anoumabo (F.E.M.U.A) in Ivory Coast.
Bisa is to perform alongside Malian legend Salif Keita, Soul Bang (Guinea), Singula (France), as well as local acts Kiff No Beat, Monique Seka and Tiken Jah ,April 25- 30.
This event is organised by Ivorian group Magic System.
The concert aims “to help the most disadvantaged by creating social cohesion through music and ensuring we live together because our country has gone through difficult times”.
However, a special tribute has also been said for the late Papa Wemba, who passed on during his performance last year.
He made this revelation on ‘Drive Entertainment show’ on Empire 102.7 FM.
Bisa confirmed that his team got the invitation from H.E. Alhassan Ouattara to perform a strong list of music acts from across the continent. He is the only Ghanaian artiste that was invited.
The ‘Mansa’ hit maker also shared experiences on his recent London tour and disclosed that he has something coming up with Nigerian gem Reekado Banks which will be out on the market soon.
Both artists have decided to keep information from the public about the song on a down-low until the song is finally released.
Signed to Black Legendary Music, Bisa KDei is best known for his 2015 hits Mansa and Brother Brother, and was reportedly recorded with HKN Gang frontman Davido.
He is the reigning VGMA Highlife Artist of the Year, and has two albums to his credit.
