Long ago, men were hunters and women child bearers and life was simple. But we have long moved away from that now. Women are now becoming hunters in their own right, through subtle posturing and appearances to attract and keep the men they want.
Whereas some of the things women do to capture men to their web works, it would appear that the men find some of them rather irritating and repulsive.
So how much of the things women do to attract men, can the men take and what exact do the men hate about women.
Adom FM’s lifestyle talks show “Yenbo Nkomo” (let’s chat) explores the extent of men’s capacity to tolerate what they find irritating about women.
In an all men studio discussions, moderated by TV and Radio diva Maame Yeboah Asiedu (aka Maame Gold), the panelist on the show mentioned a quite number of things they find annoying about women.
The list included, excessive make-up, unkempt hair, stretch marks, unhygienic private parts and bad odor among others.
DJ Fletch, who was described as a brazier and breast specialist touched on how some women wear braziers for longer period than necessary, leading to baseline of the brazier piling dirt and sweat and creating bad odor.
He also noted that some women are fond of wearing tight bras that divide their breast into four making it look unattractive.
DJ Fletch is therefore advising women that the way to look appealing to men is to wear the right bra size that shows the true form, shape and size of the breast.
It even got more interesting when DJ Fletch gave tag names to the various panties women wear, indicating the appropriate times to wear which panties.
G-string panties, according to him is called the Room Divider because it covers just the buttock line so when worn under tight clothes it does not show in the clothes. But the normal panties, which he called the Pillow Case pants, covers the buttocks and therefore the pantie line shows in tight clothes, which is not appealing to the eye.
He finds tight clothes on pillow case panties irritating and wants women to stop it.
Another panelist, Adisababa also said women with heavy make-up puts him off. He mentioned that he cannot bear women with too much makeup.
He also has issues with the length of time women take to apply their make-up, after which they even stain the shirts of men in a simple hug.
“Nowadays you can’t even hug women comfortably when you are in a white shirt because you are afraid your shirt will be stained,” he said.
Adisababa said he also hates what he called the “body misrepresentation” of women; where women follow the crowd and pick the wrong dress for their body type just because that dress is in vogue.
The men have had their say, but come Tuesday February 13, 2018 the women will take their turn on the show and defend their hunting skill, and also talk about their own issues with the men.
Yenbo Nkomo is this and every Tuesday, 8.30pm – 10pm on Adom FM.
