“The EC has to sit up so that we don’t have any confusion on the election day.
“The EC is an important institution in us having peaceful elections in this country; so, if the EC commissioners are listening, you better wake up; you are not doing your job properly,” he urged.
The NDC flagbearer stated that, Ghanaians are ready for change and that must not be stopped by any individual.
Mr Mahama reiterated the NDC’s commitment to ensuing a violence-free election, but that should be dependent on the fairness of processes leading to the elections.
He underscored the EC’s critical role in ensuring peaceful elections in the country, warning that any failure to meet expectations could undermine the electoral process.
