Best time to sync Ghanaian league with Europe – Oduro Nyarko

-

CEO of Wa all stars, Mr. Oduro Nyarko says the delay of the 2017/2018 league season is a perfect opportunity to put plans in place to sync the local league with that of the foreign ones.
According to him, he is saddened by the delay in the start of the league season because they are still incurring cost in keeping their players but it can also be an avenue for the football association to synchronise with the foreign leagues and begin in August.
“We have always wanted to sync our league with Europe and I think we can use this time to do that. I propose we go ahead with the FA cup and play a Novelty league till August so we begin a new season with the rest of the world”, he advocated.
Mr. Nyarko further explained that going ahead with the 2017/2018 league season after the court hearing will still keep the Ghanaian league far behind the whole world since the cannot end by August.
He also bemoaned the additional cost his club is incurring, having to convey the playing body down south only to play friendly matches and not the budgeted-for premier league and hopes the legal tussle is over quickly.
