Bechem United head coach, Kwaku Danso, has outlined the team’s ambitions for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, aiming for a top-four finish and an FA Cup victory.
Danso shared his thoughts after Bechem United’s 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko in their Matchday 10 clash at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Sunday.
In an interview, Danso admitted that the team had faced challenges at the start of the season but stressed that their goals remain unchanged.
“Our target is to finish in the top four of the Ghana Premier League and to win the FA Cup,” Danso said in an interview with Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show.
He also acknowledged the team’s struggles with injuries to key players but noted that these players are now recovering and will play an important role in the team’s future performances.
“We didn’t have the best start to the season, and we’ve had key players sidelined by injuries. However, they are now returning, and our goal remains unchanged,” he added.
Currently in 9th place with 14 points, Bechem United will next face Berekum Chelsea at Golden City Park in their Matchday 11 fixture this weekend.
