President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged the people of the Upper East Region to strongly support the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming December elections.
He highlighted that Dr. Bawumia represents the hopes and dreams of many Ghanaians as the country heads into the polls.
The President called on voters in the region to back the NPP by selecting the number one position on the ballot during election day.
President Akufo-Addo made these remarks while addressing the Chiefs and elders of the Upper East Region during a one-day tour of the area on Tuesday.
“I came here to report on my work, express gratitude for your support, and encourage you to carefully consider choosing someone to follow in my footsteps, continuing the policies that have brought relief, progress, and development to our nation,” he stated.
“This election is straightforward. On the ballot paper, just look for number one, where you’ll find the elephant. There’s no need to look any further,” he added.
