Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to officially file his nomination for the 2024 elections on Monday, September 9, 2024.

The filing will take place at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission in Accra.

Dr. Bawumia, who has been endorsed by the NPP as their flag bearer for the upcoming elections, will be accompanied by his Running Mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, along with other key Party leaders, including the National Chairman, General Secretary, and the Majority Leader in Parliament.

After filing his nomination, Dr. Bawumia is expected to address party members and the general public at the NPP National Headquarters at 9:00 AM.

The event is anticipated to draw a significant crowd as the Party rallies behind its candidate in preparation for the December elections.

The NPP leadership has invited all Party members and the general public to join in what they describe as a “historic moment” in the party’s journey and Ghana’s political landscape.
