Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has described as shocking the demise of Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Mr Emmanuel Kyeremateng.
In a facebook post he wrote: “I have learnt with grief and shock, the sudden death of Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, popularly known as ‘3da ho plain.’
Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko was a true patriot, a friend and brother. He will forever be missed by me, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and the entire nation.

Meanwhile, President Akufo-Addo says the sudden demise of Mr Agyarko is a “big blow” to the ‘Elephant’ fraternity.
Mr Agyarko died on Wednesday at the age of 61.

Background
Mr Agyarko was a former Chief Executive Officer of the Food and Drugs Board now Authority (FDA). He hailed from Odumasi-Krobo in the Eastern Region.
Born on December 10, 1957, the deceased was pharmacist, a medical doctor and a politician.
He had a Bachelor in Pharmacy which he obtained at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in the year 1982.
He was Chairperson of the Environment, Science and Technology Committee in Parliament. He also served on the Government Assurance and Health Committees.
The late MP was a Fellow of the Ghana College of Pharmacists and was the brother of former Energy Minister, Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko.
He was married with seven children.
