Bawumia reiterates optimism in emerging victorious in December

Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged Ghanaians to go out and vote in their numbers without fear, expressing his continued confidence in emerging victorious in the upcoming December elections.

Dr. Bawumia made these remarks while addressing a campaign rally at Asiwa in the Bosome-Freho Constituency of the Ashanti Region as part of his ongoing 16-day campaign tour across the region.

“In my 16 years of experience in electioneering campaigns, I have never seen a momentum as big as the one I’ve experienced on this tour, covering over 200 constituencies nationwide,” Dr. Bawumia said. “The enthusiasm and support we’ve seen from Ghanaians are unprecedented, and I am confident that victory is within our reach.”

He added that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has recognized their dwindling chances of winning, a realization that he believes explains the party’s shift toward negative campaigning.

“The NDC has seen that they are on the verge of losing, and that is why their campaign is now filled with insults rather than policies. The people of Ghana deserve better.”

Dr. Bawumia also urged the residents of Bosome-Freho to continue supporting his candidacy, noting that he understands their struggles with the poor road networks in the area.

“I know how the deplorable road networks are affecting your daily lives. I assure you that I will fix them once I am given the opportunity to serve for eight years. Unlike my opponent, who has only four years, I can offer more time to address the challenges you face.”

“I urge you to vote for me because I have the experience and commitment to bring change,” he added. “With your support, we will continue to move Ghana forward.”
