Bawumia must stop running away from Akufo-Addo’s track record – Mahama

-

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has criticized Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia for attempting to distance himself from the shortcomings of the current administration.

According to Mahama, it is surprising that Dr. Bawumia is trying to separate himself from President Akufo-Addo’s track record, emphasizing that Bawumia is a partner in the administration, not just an observer.

Speaking to hundreds of Sege constituents on the first day of his Greater Accra region tour, Mr. Mahama asserted that, the Vice President cannot dissociate his office from the decisions and actions of the presidency.

He accused Dr Bawumia of trying to mislead Ghanaians by disassociating himself from the government’s failures.

Mr. Mahama also highlighted the need to develop the Bonikope and Songhor areas to unlock their potential, while discussing some of the initiatives he plans to implement in the region.
