These are words of the Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party’s election campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, as he explains why he has chosen the side of the party’s flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM, Aboagye highlighted Bawumia’s integrity, vision, and unwavering commitment to Ghana’s progress, stating these qualities set him apart from traditional politicians.
According to him, Bawumia’s sincerity is evident in his interactions, where he meets people directly, shakes hands firmly, and maintains eye contact—a gesture Aboagye interprets as a sign of transparency.
“He’s not just a politician; he’s a technocrat who’s ventured into politics with solutions-driven thinking. Dr. Bawumia is committed to the cause of Ghana. Bawumia is always thinking about the future.”
In Aboagye’s view, Bawumia is constantly focused on a progressive path for Ghana, aspiring to see the country rise to the level of global nations that Ghanaians admire.
