The Minority leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has said Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia cannot be absolved from Ghana’s economic mess.
In a post on Facebook, the Member of Parliament for Ajumako Enyan Essiam contends that, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) cannot shift blame away from Dr. Bawumia just to win votes in the December elections.
The Minority leader said Ghanaians are watchful and won’t be misled into voting for Dr. Bawumia as President.
“In the aftermath of presiding over significant economic turmoil in Ghana, the NPP now attempts to portray Bawumia as absolved, all in their campaign for his presidency.” he said.

Dr. Ato Forson’s remarks come in the wake of a plea by Kofi Bentil, the Vice President of IMANI Africa.
In a write-up, Mr Bentil called on Ghanaians to attentively listen to the NPP flagbearer during his scheduled public lecture on February 7.
