Ayorkor Botchway has apologized to me – Sam George

Ningo Prampram Member Parliament, Samuel George says he would no longer pursue case against the Foreign Minister over Monday’s standoff in the House after personally apologizing to him.

According to Sam George, he has had a personal encounter with the minister which was honorable enough to let sleeping dogs lie.

“Shirley called me yesterday and apologized and I think from one colleague to another, once she has asked to let it go I have let it go, that gesture to me was noble enough”, he stated.

Sam George served notice he will report the matter to the speaker, claiming he has assaulted by the minister.

Speaking in an interview on Adom News, he said “I can’t dictate to the leadership what to do concerning the matter, so it is up to them to pursue the matter or not, I have decided not to push further with the matter”.

Shirley Ayorkor Botchway attempted hitting Mr. George’s phone to stop him from filming as she engaged in a heated argument with North Tongu MP Okudzeto Ablakwa.
