Ayew brothers dropped as Appiah names squad for Uganda clash

-

Kwesi Appiah has shockingly left out brothers Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew for next month’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Uganda in Kampala.

The Black Stars coach named a 26-man squad for the tough assignment, excluding the English Premier League duo.

But handed debut call-ups to Kingsley Sarfo of Swedish side Malmo, USA-based Abass Mohammed, Kasim Nuhu of Swiss club Young Boys as well as WAFU Cup winning duo Isaac Twum and Vincent Atingah.

Atingah scored two goals, one in the final as Ghana successfully won the competition for the second straight time while Twum was voted most valuable player of the tournament.
