Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, Sam George is trending on social media after claiming “several rounds of ammunition were shot directly at him” at the ongoing by-elections at Ayawaso West Wuogon.
In an interview with Joy News, Sam George stated the men fired several rounds of ammunition at him.
“They asked where is that man Sam George he should come out. They were armed policemen uniform when I was assaulted but did nothing and watched on. They were not shooting in the air but were shooting directly at me” he asserted.

But some social media users have described Sam George’s claim as ridiculous because they expected him to sustain minor injuries if not major from the stray bullets that were fired.
With this, several memes, photos and other trolling materials are being posted on social media to troll the Member of Parliament.
Some people have also condemned the act, insisting authorities must bring to book those who assaulted Sam George.
