A Ho Circuit Court has granted bail to Emmanuel Tsikata, an auto-mechanic and his accomplice, Michael Ameshie, an Agro Chemical distributor for assaulting one Christian Gbogbo and breaking his jaw.
The two were granted bail in the sum of GHC 20,000 each with a surety each to reappear on July 01, 2019.
Prosecuting, Police Sergeant Patience Kuade told the court presided over by Mrs. Priscilla Dikro Ofori that the complainant referred to as Kwame said Tsikata and Ameshie were both residents of Anlorkordzie, a surburb of Ho.

She said on October 12, 2018 at about 0700 hours a misunderstanding ensued between Gbogbo and the accused persons at Civic Centre at Ho about the victim dating one Linda Banor, the younger sister of Tsikata.
Sergeant Kuade said Ameshie attacked the victim and sent victim to the ground with Tsikata emerging to assist his friend and using a stone to hit the lower jaw of the victim several times until the jaw was broken.
The Prosecution said the victim was rushed to the Ho Municipal Hospital for treatment and was admitted for some days before he was transferred to the 37 Military Hospital for further treatment due to the severity of the injury.

She said a report was made to the police subsequently and the accused persons were arrested.
The Prosecution said Tsikata admitted the offence and pleaded for mercy but Ameshie denied any involvement in the brawl.
