Controversial hiplife artiste Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the reaction of the boss of the Ghana Maritime Authority, Kwame Owusu.

In an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday, A Plus said he was disappointed in Mr Owusu for lying, looking at his age and the position he occupies in the country.

“You are an elderly person who has been given an important position to handle in the so why should you lie to cover up for your actions,” he asked.

The musician has debunked accusations that he was involved in a personality attack, saying he was fighting the Maritime Authority as an institution that was engaged in the misuse of funds.

“Kwame Owusu is accusing me of a failed attempt to extort money from him hence my decision to bring this issue out. As an elderly man and someone in authority who knows extortion is wrong and against the law, why didn’t he report me to the police for blackmail or extortion,” A-Plus queried.

“Nana Addo, during his inauguration ceremony, said it was important for Ghanaians to be citizens and not just spectators; citizens and not actors which mean our president is ready for change which should start now,” he added.
