President Akufo-Addo has assured that his government is working hard to address all the socio-economic challenges confronting Ghanaians.
He indicated that though they have not addressed all the problems of the country, “We are working hard to bring about the rebirth of our nation”.

Addressing NPP delegates at its National Delegates Congress at Koforidua in the Eastern region, President Akufo-Addo said as the captain of Ghana’s boat, he will ensure it does not capsize.
The President noted that “it is obvious that the destiny of Ghana is in our hands”.

But to realize this dream, President Akufo-Addo charged NPP members to work hard to ensure they stay in office for a long time to effect the social and economic transformation the people require.
“Let us work together to make sure that we stay in power to achieve the aspirations that we have for Ghana”, he charged party members.

“We can and will do it so long as we remain united and focused on the big picture and see ourselves as instruments of service to the Ghanaian people”.
President Akufo-Addo gave the assurance that he was fully in charge and wouldn’t allow anyone to take control.
“I am the captain of the boat and I will not allow anybody to rock or capsize it. The boat is going to sail to a safe haven, no curve not burn” he stated.
