New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North Constituency, Collins Owusu Amankwah, has described as dangerous a decision by Supt. Peter Lanchene Tuubo, former Executive Secretary of the Inspector-General Police to quit to join politics.
“We need to condemn this thing. It’s like he has revealed his biggest secret of being a politician. It is dangerous and a disgrace to the police profession,” he stated in an interview on Accra-based Neat FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

The former police officer became famous following a viral video in which he chastised drivers for willingly offering bribes to police officers.
Speaking on the issue, Mr Amankwah, condemning the decision, urged his colleague politicians not to glorify his actions which, to him, have exposed his duties in the past and has also affected the neutrality of the Ghana Police Service.
