The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye (better known as Nana B), has dismissed claims by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that President Nana Akufo-Addo is corrupt and shielding corrupt government officials.
Nana B says he rather sides with the former Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs who said President Akufo-Addo is not corrupt.

According to him, the NDC’s conduct smacks of lack of purpose.
“These NDC guys are just not serious. It is just shocking that a party that superintended corruption and shielded its corrupt officials will have the guts to call our President a corrupt president. Even Allotey Jacobs believes that Akufo-Addo is not corrupt,” he told Accra based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

Nana B said the NDC has no message going into the 2020 elections.
According to the youth organiser, the opposition is clinging on to character smearing and vague suppositions in an attempt to divert attention from the laudable achievements of the Akufo-Addo government.

He also took a swipe at the General Secretary of the NDC, Johnson Asiedu Nketia.
According to him, Mr Nketia awarded himself contracts whilst he was chairman of the Bui Dam Authority.
He added that the NDC does not have the right to accuse President Akufo-Addo of running a family and friend’s government.
