Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema East constituency, Daniel Nii Kwatei Titus-Glover, is calling for increased public education on the planned introduction of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) into public schools.
According to him, the resistance that has greeted the programme is because most stakeholders lack understanding.

Religious bodies, civil society organisations and parents have vowed not to accept the contents of the CSE curricula due to its semblance to beliefs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender movement.
Though the Ghana Education Service (GES) has assured CSE is to empower the children on sexual rights, critics insist the programme will rather corrupt the minds of the children.
Contributing to the discussion on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem, Monday, Mr Titus-Glover said the mêlée that has greeted the sexuality education is self-inflicted.
He explained that, if GES and the Ministry of Education had engaged stakeholders before rolling out CSE, the noise would have been avoided.
Mr Titus-Glover urged them to engage the services of the National Commission for Civic Education to embark on public sensitisation before the programme is taught in schools.
