Nii Lante, brother of the chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom has given account on what may have led to the death of 32-year-old, Augustus Bruce in a hotel in Ngleshie Amanfrom near Kasoa in the Central Region.
“Our palace is right beside that hotel and we know everyone who works there and what happens there. Bruce is a very good friend of mine and he used to be a former security man at the hotel” he stated.
Speaking on on Adom FM’s Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Tuesday, Nii Lante said the deceased who was a former security man at the Primens Hotel had a serious misunderstanding with the manager over his missing bag.

He explained that, the fight broke out after the deceased confronted his Nigerian manager of hiding his bag when he had gone to the hotel for money owed him.
“Even two days to his mysterious death, I saw him and we talked for a while and even gave him 50 cedis after he had complained of hunger. I asked why he was at the hotel and he told me he was there to collect his money from the manager only to hear two days later that he has been killed and dumped in one of the hotel rooms” he stated.
The late Augustus Bruce was allegedly killed and dumped in Primens Hotel in Kasoa where he once worked.

Mother of the deceased, Madam Afia Boatemaa who disclosed this said the matter happened in September last year when her son had gone for money owed him by his Nigerian manager.
According to the Madam Boatemaa , the owner of the hotel is very aggressive, mistreats most of his workers and residents who live around the hotel.

Madam Boatemaa has accused the hotel manager and some workers of having a hand in her son’s death.
