Former Gender and Social Protection minister has got the support of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong following her decision to quit politics.

The outspoken MP said he appreciates Otiko Djaba for choosing to spend time with her family than take up the President’s offer of a new position.

But the former minister has announced she would rather spend time taking care of her ex-husband who has been down with a stroke.
On Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, the Assin Central MP wondered whether the former Minister was going to pick tomotoes in Italy.

“I support Otiko’s decision, what is he going to do there, to be plucking tomatoes or what? She says she is tired and I agree perfectly to that…,” he said.
