A flagbearer hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin has vowed not to pull out of the flagbearer race of the party.
He says he will not leave the contest because the ex-President John Mahama is also in the race.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Eksoii Sen Thursday, he is reckoning his proud record of having not lost an election before to triumph in the upcoming primaries.

“I am ever ready to lead the party but not ready to bow out because of Mahama. It will never happen” he said.
He continued, “Have you ever seen or heard of me losing elections before? No ! There is no way I will lose this election.”
Bagbin is among bigwigs who have publicly declared their intention to contest the flag bearer position of the NDC when the party opens nominations with the aim of becoming the President of the land in 2020.
Among them are George Spio-Gabrah, Prof. Joshua Alabi, Nii Amasah Namoale, among others.
But the Nadowli/Kaleo legislature believes he stands tall among host of other contestants, saying he is the best person to lead the NDC in 2020.
According to him, 24-year experience in parliament is a clear demonstration he is ordained by God to serve the people.
