Audio: I don’t support NDC; I support Mahama – Appiah Stadium

-

Popular serial caller and activist of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Appiah Stadium, has revealed he only supports former President John Mahama and stands with him and not the National Democratic Congress.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Appiah Stadium said he no longer reveres the NDC as a party but remains faithful and grateful to the former president as that is the only way he can continue to show appreciation to him.

“I am a supporter of Yamin and I worship John Dramani Mahama so if he should leave the party today, I will also go with him. I am out now because Mahama wants to come back and lead the party into victory in 2020,” he said.

He debunked assertions by the Ashanti Regional Secretary Kwame Zu that there are no feuding parties in the party.

“There are a lot of feuds in the Ashanti Region NDC and anybody who says there is no problem is not speaking the truth. There are a lot of problems in the Ashanti Region between Yamin and Nana Kwasi,” he said.

Following the shooting incidence on Monday, the NDC’s Ashanti Regional Secretary Kwame Zu denied the existence of feuding groups in the party in the Ashanti Region.

“All I can say, for now, is that they are known to party members of the NDC, as to the specific names of the victims, we would prefer to speak to the family members first before we can make that public,” he said.
