Mama Gee, as she is popularly called, was apprehended upon a tip-off, Public Relations Officer of the FDA, James Lartey revealed on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Thursday.
He said when arrested, the suspect claimed her sexual enhancement and other products, which had not been duly registered by the Authority, were potent.
Explaining how the charms work, Mama Gee said her products upgrade women’s private parts to ‘sweetness’ level and make them different from other women.
But, Mr Lartey noted that when they ‘stormed’ her shop and house, they realised she had no authorisation from the FDA.
“When officials of FDA went to her house, they saw raw materials and herbal concoctions which she uses for the drugs,” he added.
