Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has suggested that if the Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana, Ron Stikker, had taken time to read the Ghana Beyond Aid document, he wouldn’t have proposed a Ghana Beyond Corruption policy.
This is because, according to the Information Minister, the roadmap of the Ghana Beyond Aid strategy focuses on the fight against corruption.

Mr Oppong’s comments follow a proposal by the Netherlands diplomat that Ghana undertakes a Ghana Beyond Corruption policy
Reacting to the diplomat’s comments, Mr Nkrumah said the Ghana Beyond Aid agenda as envisioned by President Akufo-Addo was a complete package with a lot of pragmatic steps and innovative solutions to ensuring economic liberty in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Oppong Nkrumah stated the launch of the Ghana Initiative Integrity (GII)’s 20th anniversary where Ron Strikker said that was to enlighten patrons on Ghana beyond Aid policy paper.
The proposal by the Ambassador is not to make fun of us as some people may see it but if the Ambassador has read the Ghana Beyond Aid Policy document, I am sure he will see that a chunk of the policy focuses on corruption fight, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said.

If you take an express look at the document, you will realise the roadmap on corruption fight is key because we know corruption as a phenomenon is costing Ghana a lot of money with monies meant for projects being embezzled, he added.
