Audio evidence could vindicate midfielder Kwame Bonsu over alleged assault on wife

Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu is on the verge of being vindicated over rape charge leveled against him by his wife in Sweden.

Bonsu has been sentenced to two years in prison after his wife reported him for an alleged rape and assault.

However a video released by fellow countryman Nasiru Mohammed who also plays in Sweden indicate the former was clean of any wrongdoing.

The video which show the faces of the couple saw Bonsu’s wife clearly acting as a “gold digger” indicating she only married the 22-year-old because of his money.

The revelation could have the punishment imposed on the midfielder being overturned as he looked to have been vindicated.

Meanwhile the player has been sacked by his team Gefle IF and has been asked to pay $28,000 to the lady.
