Former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has dismissed claims by MP for Assin Central North that former President John Mahama own landed property in Dubai.
Kennedy Agyapong told Adom TV Morning Show ‘Badwam’ Tuesday Mr Mahama and some of his appointees used public funds to amass wealth including acquiring expensive homes for themselves.

According to him, some bought homes in South Africa, United Kingdom, Dubai and the United States.
But Mr. Allotey Jacobs has parried off the claims, describing them as baseless.
He has urged the public to treat such rumours with the contempt that it deserves.
According to him, Mr. Mahama is not corrupt to be engaged in the act.

He is challenging the outspoken MP to substantiate the allegations with evidence.
“Mahama has no house in Dubai. Mahama is epitome of NDC and he will never be involved in such issues. I can tell you that Mahama even suffered before he got a house at the Airport. I will never believe former appointees own buildings in Dubai,” he said.
