New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth of Bekwai in the Ashanti region have threatened to stage a massive demonstration against the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) in the area.

According to the angry youth, they have endured enough incompetent behaviors from the board of Bekwai ECG following the incessant erratic power supply in the area.

Leader of the group, Vincent Atobra Kyei told Adom News the people of Bekwai are still battling with power outages popularly known as ‘dumsor’ hence they strongly believe it’s borne out of mere incompetence from the management.

They have threatened to embark on a serious demonstration if the management do not help resolve the irregular power supply.
