Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North constituency, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has condemned the ethnocentric comments by Head Pastor of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi.
She is, thus, calling on the man of God to immediately apologise to Ghanaians, especially women because she believes the comment is in a bad taste.
Mrs Owusu-Ekuful, who is also the Communications Minister, noted that Prophet Kobi’s supposed research which he claims to have conducted is flawed and it was such researches that “led us into slavery 400 years ago.”

According to her, Prophet Kobi could have said those words mistakenly or as a joke, but he must admit he is wrong and reflect over his actions.
“Men of God don’t talk that way. If you have any remorse, apologise to us and be free. It is not just an insult on the tribes he mentioned but women in general,” she stated in Twi.
