Some form Two and Three students of Akyem Akroso Senior High School (SHS) are calling on school authorities to refund what they describe as ‘illegal’ fees collected from them.
The students want authorities to give them back the monies they claim they paid for some textbooks, church clothes and polo shirts.

According to them, even though they have paid for the items, they were never delivered to them.
They further allege that Management of the school billed their predecessors with the same items but never supplied them, a situation they say has forced them to demand for the items since they believe they have been taken for granted.

Some parents also say the issue was raised at their PTA meeting said the school authorities promised to deliver the items but are yet to do so.
The Headmaster of the School, Sampson Agyiri Narko told Adom News that the issue happened before he took over his post, confirming that he has received several complaints on the issue.

He said a joint committee of teachers and the PTA has been set to investigate the matter.
