A seven-year-old-boy is fighting for his life after being allegedly sodomized by three boys in school.
The boy (name withheld) who is currently on admission at the Tema General Hospital is said to be suffering from an infection as a result of the act.
The victim’s grandmother, Madam Theresa Lamptey, narrating the ordeal to Captain Smart on Adom FM’s Morning Show Dwaso Nsem Monday said the boy was ambushed by the three class 5 pupils after he closed from school.

She said the suspects dragged the victim who is in class 1 to an uncompleted room and assaulted him sexually, ripping the victim’s anus in the process.
“Last month, when my grandson returned from school, he told me he won’t be going back to school again. So I asked why but he refused to tell me till I saw that he was bleeding through his anus, so I asked him further and he told he was sodomized by some boys in class 5.
“I then rushed him to the hospital and as I’m speaking, he is currently on admission and can’t even walk. His anus has been ripped”, she cried.

The distraught grandma said after the suspects were identified by the victim, they were left to go scot-free by the Community Eleven Police.
Madam Theresa Lamptey said the boys were released after they denied the act.
The grandma, who is left to deal with the situation on her own is hurt by the incident and is appealing for support to help take care of the boy since she is cash-strapped.

“These boys have been left to go scot-free because they denied the act. Now I have been left alone, I have used all the money I have. After selling all my clothes and everything I have, I am left with nothing and I plead with the public to help me”, she cried.
Meanwhile, the Tema Regional Police PRO, Joseph Benefo Darkwa speaking on Adom News said the suspects have been granted bail pending investigations into the matter.
