This incident marks the second case of hooliganism in the Division One League within two weeks, following a violent clash between Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks.

Football-related violence has been a growing concern in the country, with recent events tarnishing the sport’s reputation.

Just weeks ago, the football community was left in shock after Asante Kotoko fan Francis Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley, was tragically stabbed to death by unidentified attackers during a Matchday 19 fixture against Nsoatreman FC at Nana Kronmansah Park in Nsoatre.

The rise in hooliganism continues to cast a dark shadow over the local game, raising urgent calls for stricter security measures and action against perpetrators.
